Fun Activity for Valentines Day Valentines Day Postcard  What you will need: Doilies Stickers Glue/Scissors Construction Paper Glitter Markers/Crayons Ribbon/Yarn What do to: Allow children to create any type of Valentine for a special someone. Encourage children to use the different materials set out for them and create cards in their own way. You could help children by writing a little note to their special someone(while they dictate the words to you). Then allow children to help address and place a stamp on the Valentine. Then ask children to put in the mailbox to send. Smart Start of Davidson County will host their first Kiss A Pig fundraiser in February of 2011. The contest has inspired many community leaders to join our cause and help raise money for the young children of Davidson County. The contest will begin in February and will encourage community members to select and vote for their "pig-kisser" of choice. Here is a list of the candidates: 1. Capt.
